We were supposed to celebrate the first anniversary of Secrets D.C. re-opening this coming weekend but the club owners have decided to postpone some, if not all, of the celebration.  Matthew Rush was scheduled to fly in from Florida and appear this Thursday and Friday, February 12, 2010.  Secrets owner Steve contacted me and asked me to reschedule Matthew Rush for a latter date to be announced.  Male strippers and porn stars Spencer Reed and Mitchell Rock were also scheduled to appear and I will let you know about their appearances. 

Above is a photo I shot on Tuesday of the snow left over from Saturday's snow storm.  I live in an area that has been plowed but the Secrets nightclub is in S.W. Washington, D.C., and their street and parking lot has not been plowed.  Saturday's snow storm dropped approximately 25 inches of snow on Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas.  This morning (Wednesday) we are experiencing our second snow storm within a week.  Today's official "blizzard" is expected to drop another 12 inches of snow.

I just shot the above photo this morning (Wednesday) and as you can see we are being hit pretty hard with another storm.  No planes at National airport and the wind is blowing hard.  I will keep you all up to date as to the schedule for Secrets this coming weekend and when Matthew Rush will appear.

Our very own MightyMen.Com model Matthew Rush was scheduled to headline an all star line up Friday, February 12, 2010 in Washington, D.C., celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the re-opening of the all nude male strip club Secrets.  Due to the snow storm last week in Washington, D.C. that dropped 25 inches of snow, and the snow storm we are experiencing today, which will drop another 8 to 12 inches, Secrets has decided to postpone Matthew's appearance until another time.  Matthew lives in sunny Florida and was scheduled to arrive in Washington, D.C. today and appear at the club on Thursday and Friday.  The airports are closed right now and there is no way.  

Max Sinclair, Mitchell Rock and Spencer Reed were scheduled to appear and I will keep you up to date over the next few days.  

 While in Washington, D.C. for our MightyMen.Com 12th Anniversary party, superstar Matthew Rush donated his time and likeness to tape a public service announcement for a local safe sex organization known as DCFukit.org, an organization that distributes information on safe sex and distributes condoms and lube to local clubs and gay establishments.  DCfukit operates solely on donations from the community and I hope that you take a minute and visit their site and donate now.

About a week before Matthew Rush arrived in Washington, D.C. for our party at Secrets nightclub, I was chatting with bartender Matt and we were talking about DC Fukit.  I asked Matt if he thought it would be helpful to have Matthew Rush tape a spot for the organization and he thought it would be a great idea.  He contacted the organization's president right on the spot and I contacted Matthew Rush.  Within a few minutes Rush had responded with an absolute "Yes" and Terry, the president, had told Matt he thought the video would be a great boost for the organization.

Usually these stripper trips are quick and uneventful, but I had built in extra time for Matthew Rush to visit local Washington, D.C. businesses like the Leather Rack in D.C. and Freddies in Arlington, VA, and we still had about 3 hours to fill on Friday afternoon.  Those hours ended up being a perfect time to tape Matthew's PSA for DCfukit.

Around 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd, 2009, a camera crew showed up at my place and began shooting the video.  

 The concept of the video was to demonstrate the proper way to put on a condom and demonstrate the most effect way to lube up, fuck and remove the condom.  Baby oil, of course, is not a proper lubricant as it can cause the condom to break while inside your partner' s butt.

Announcing MightyMen.com's 12th Anniversary party in Washington, D.C. for October 23rd, 2009.  Starring Matthew Rush, live and nude.  I felt Matthew was the perfect choice to headline our 12th Anniversary party event in D.C.  Mr. Rush has had quite a long career with Falcon Studios and I was lucky enough to shoot his first video and photo project after he became a free agent this past January.  Plus I've been a huge fan of his since day one of his career and I am glad he chose to work with MightyMen.Com and me.  I think he will be a great attraction for the event and fans around the country will have the opportunity to see him live and nude, get a first hand look at that famous dick and have the opportunity to meet him.

The event will take place at Secrets Night Club in Washington, D.C., located at 1824 Half Street, S.W. 20024.

I've chosen Secrets in D.C. for several reasons.  First it is a well established leader in adult male entertainment and dance club that features nude male strippers each Wednesday through Sunday, including my buddy Max Sinclair.  Most clubs around the country requires the dancers cover up their dicks and asses,  at Secrets in D.C., the guys show it all.  Very similar to our MightyMen.com naked bartender parties we used to have in Los Angeles in the 1990s.  

Unlike our Naked Bartender Parties in Los Angeles, the bartenders at Secrets have to keep their clothes on, but the 10 plus guys stripping around the dance floor, including Matthew Rush, can strip down to their socks and flop those big dicks in our faces.  I love dicks.  

Our own MightyMen.Com model Evan Marks will be on hand serving you guys drinks.  You guys remember Evan, he worked with me in 2006 and gave Reese Rideout one of his first on screen blow jobs.  Evan is all grown up now and looking mighty fine.  He's beefier and so damn fucking handsome.  It was right around the 11th of January, 2009 that Matthew Rush's lifetime exclusive contract with Falcon Studios was terminated and Rush would become a free agent.  Free to pick and choose who he wanted to work with and what he wanted to do.

There was sort of a feeding frenzy going on amongst certain porn companies, websites and agents as to who would get him first for a porn project after nearly a decade with one of the most successful porn companies in the business. 

I will admit that I wanted the first chance but had lost contact with Matthew several years ago.  We had met at a Bad Boys Pool Party in 2002, ran into each other a few times, exchanged e-mails, but then lost contact after I moved to the east coast.

For days after it was confirmed he was leaving Falcon I was getting e-mails from gay porn press, other porn stars, agents, blah blah, everyone was gossiping about inside information and several reporters told me they knew who was going to get Rush for his first project and it would take place on the West Coast.  I told one press correspondent that I would like to work with him and I was told that I was just too small time and a much bigger company was going to work with Rush.

Of course, I never mentioned that Rush had contacted me a few days after his contract expired and was already ticketed to come to my home for a few days and shoot a solo.  After he arrived I shot out a few e-mails and it hit the industry wires pretty quick that while others were scrambling and gossiping, he was already naked and hard and jacking his big thick cock in front of me.

 He arrived the day after Obama's Inauguration and we headed out for dinner and stopped by Freddie's Beach Bar in Arlington, VA.  A gay bar that would be the last place you'd expect to see a major porn star.  The bar was packed when we walked in and they had to stop the show going on so everyone could stare at him (it was Wednesday's Drag Queen Bingo).  Rush was approached by more than a dozen bar patrons and asked to sign autographs and take photos.  We spent - or I should say he spent - about two hours talking with people and having a few drinks.

Later the next morning we went out for a quick breakfast and started working on his solo shots, interview and jack off video.  It went so quick.  Working with a pro makes such a different.  It took Rush less than 45 minutes to shoot his video.  With amateurs, which I am more accustomed to work with, it can take hours to shoot a solo and many hours to shoot a fuck scene.

Rush and I had talked about his first project being a solo with a lighter feel to it.  Something different from Falcon's big black, heavy, leather videos.  Not that there is anything wrong with them, but we just wanted something lighter that focused solely on Rush.
